Louis P. Iglesias
President, Allied World North America
Louis P. Iglesias, CPCU, ARM, has been the President, Allied World North America for Allied World Assurance Company (U.S.) Inc. and Allied World National Assurance Company, two of its subsidiaries, since January 31, 2014 and is responsible for providing strategic leadership and executing business strategies for the company’s United States and Canada insurance platforms. Since December 31, 2014, he has also been responsible for providing strategic leadership and executing business strategies for their Bermuda insurance platform. From April 2012 through January 2014, he was the President, U.S. Property & Casualty for Allied World Assurance Company (U.S.) Inc. and Allied World National Assurance Company. From 1994 to April 2012, Mr. Iglesias served in various senior management positions at AIG, including Chief Executive Officer for Commercial Casualty, President for the Risk Management Group, President for AIG Environmental and President of AIG Construction. Prior to AIG, Mr. Iglesias worked at Travelers and Reliance insurance companies.
Christine LaSala
North American Chair, Willis Towers Watson
Christine LaSala is North American Chair of Willis Towers Watson. Ms. LaSala works closely with the leadership of Willis Towers Watson North America focusing on business development and expanding Willis Towers Watson’s footprint in the marketplace while aligning resources from across the firm’s global platform to deliver risk and people related insight, services and solutions to Willis Towers Watson’s clients. Her global responsibilities are to help build a strong and vibrant client management capability throughout the firm. Prior to joining Willis in 2014, Ms. LaSala was President and CEO of the WTC Captive Insurance Company, a not-for-profit corporation providing liability insurance to the City of New York and over 100 private contractors. She came out of retirement after a long and successful career as the only woman partner of Johnson & Higgins. At Johnson & Higgins New York she served as president of the firm’s tri-state operations and served on its Board of Directors. In 2001-2002, Ms. LaSala was acting Head of School at the Children’s Storefront, a tuition-free, independent school in Harlem, where she served as president of the Storefront’s Board of Trustees from 1997 until 2012. She is also a trustee of The Windward School. From 2002 to 2008, she was on the Board of Trustees of the College of New Rochelle, serving as Vice-Chair in 2007-2008. Ms. LaSala was named Woman of the Year by the Association of Professional Insurance Women in 1997 and was a David Rockefeller Fellow in 1994-1995. She is a graduate of the College of New Rochelle and studied finance at Fordham University.
